This is definitely leaching. While it is true that the process of erosion can remove minerals from soil, it also removes anything else with it.

Leaching on the other hand, occurs when only small mineral particles are dissolved and carried away by water, while the larger particles that can not be dissolved by water are left behind. The result, is a kind of barren soil that has low mineral content.

I would say leaching instead of erosion, which was my first thought, but erosion just washes away the soil. Leaching would dissolve the minerals in the soil, taking the minerals from the soil like a leach, and carry them away.

Closest one to fit the definition that you gave is erosion however leaching does deal with the specificity of the mineral. You can get rid of weathering and abrasion on account of they are both terms for wear and tear. My answer is erosion.
