I find it's a nice thing, but causes more segregation and crime, because of these cliques, they can be very secretive on what they do, they can be doing anything really and most people wouldn't know about it

It's not a matter of being for or against it. It's a matter of dealing with reality. When there are many ethnicities and many cultures living together in an area, you have two choices: (1) try to expel, kill, or intimidate everyone who's different from you, or (2) accept the facts and try to get along.

In my opinion, #2 is the only rational choice.

Multiculturism may be for some people, but i am personally sick of it. I live in a city that is considered to be the most deverse city in the world. It's called Toronto. I have lived here my whole life. This used to be a great city. It used to be very clean, friendly, safe, and financially stable.

Now we are over run with minorities. Many people can't find a Doctor anymore. What used to be a reasonably short waiting time for any Government service is now unbelievably long. Hospital waiting times are on the average of up to 6 hours or more just to get into a room, where you have to wait a little longer. Health Care is free here so they such it up like it's going out of style. Gun crime is growing by the day in their communities. Customer service is a joke. Half of them barely speak English and I'm supposed to be patient when they can't even get simple orders right or can't understand simple questions. It's everywhere and it's extremely fustrating at times. Were supposed to be accomadating to these people, yet they refuse to adapt to our culture. I've seen so many of them who have been here for years and still cannot put a sentence of 2-3 English words together. They've tried to have our National Anthem stopped from being played at schools, because it say God in the words. Our city is financially straped because we can't keep up with the influx of these people. All in all I would have to say that I don't like Multicultalism when it is shoved down our throats. Thanks Canada. The worlds doormat.

I am all for multiculturalism. Everytime i learn about a new culture, i learn more about humanity and how we think. It's a very useful skill to have as far as helping me deal better in my relationships esp work relationships. Segregation occurs among different cultures when one or both cultures close themselves off to the other. What happens then is that there is a lot of unknowns and both cultures feel strange to each other because they do not know what each other thinks. They have not seen each other as fellow human beings and have failed to relate to each other as such. Unfortunately strange things or unknowns are one of the biggest fears that all humans share (eg fear of death) so people act out of these fears and do what they have to do to defend themselves against imagined attacks/problems.
We have sooo much to learn from each other and we miss out on potential friendships and life altering experiences when we close ourselves off from others.
Multiculturalism is a very very nice thing
