Problems with codec?

I download megaman x day of sigma and the k lite code pac...because I got problems with the video...gspot tell me that I do not have the codec it says I need the H264/x64 ITU H.26n, I download it.. I tried to ue it but nothing happens..please help me.

You're sure you installed the decoder directshow filter?

Did you restart the machine?
