I'm going to the beach with my boyfriend the first of May. Are there any good hotels out there. I need to make our reservations now so it won't be a last minute trip.

First, check out reviews on http://www.TripAdvisor.com/ -- that'll help you narrow down where you might like to go.
Then, head over to any of the big online hotel reservation sites -- http://www.hotels.com/ , http://www.expedia.com/ , etc. and see what's available.

I have stayed at the Holiday Inn 3 times and loved it. The hotel sits right on the beach.
