what does it mean if a spider falls into hot wax? Like in Tom Soyer I think, I know I spelled that wrong. Any way what does it mean? Any other interesting supersitions you know of? in literature or experience?

An old Cajun woman told be before I got married that I shouldn't marry him because his eyes were to close together. She said that means they can't be trusted. Should have listened....he cheated on me with my best friend...we ended up divorced. I introduced her to my 2nd husband and she gave me the thumbs up. We've been together for 12 years!
