Have they ever blossomed?
Where do you live? (for example, where I live, apples wouldn't grow...but citrus trees would).
Do you fertilize them and water them a lot during the springtime?
I would definitely ask the nursery if you got the correct type and if you need to buy another one.

Planting the trees 3 feet apart was way too close. Apple trees need space above and below the ground. Once established the limbs and roots will extend 6' from the center of the tree, that means you need to plant the tree at least 10-12 feet apart.

flwrgrl, I think you've got a lot of creative answers...
I believe that pollination is indeed the problem. You need two different cultivars to achieve pollination. Even then some cultivars don't pollinate well with certain others (Yellow and Red Delicious apples for instance).
I don't know their web site, but look for Stark Brothers. It's a mail order catalogue company that specializes in fruit trees, they have a chart for apple tree pollination, perhaps your county extension office as well.
Certainly there can be other problems as well, but I see this as the most obvious place to start.
I hope that this helps
Good luck-

A good friend of mine has a single apple tree in his front yard which produces apples on its own. Maybe you did not plant the right two trees next to each other. If this is the case and in the case of my friend, he goes to a apple orchard to get this special spray. He sprays it on the leaves once a year so the tree will able be able to produce apples. I am sure you can pick up this spray at a local garden center.

Have they blossomed? They need to pollutant each other. It may be a bee problem. Or a virus.
Try planting at least one more apple tree, make sure they are all the same kind of apple tree. Or talk to the nursery you got them and ask them if you need to do something to jumstart the process. Once they start they should stay productive.

attempt cropping the tops off in the early spring and make the tree around 6' tall. this might enable for direct image voltaic to circulate into the tree and you will see a super distinction. in effortless terms the final, no longer the edges.
