Those 2 who answered are dumb, yes, what they suggested works but they didn't consider the fact that your kids LOGGED OFF!!!!!! However, if your account is an administrator type, u should have access to the other limited user's files...... the history of any browser, along with the temporary internet files such as jpgs, gifs banners 'n' stuff is located here: C:\Documents and Settings\Your kid's user name\Local Settings\History or \Temporary Internet Files.... If u do not see any Local Settings folder..... it means u can't view hidden files and folders... go to Tools-Folder Options-second tab, and select Show hidden files and folders (in windows explorer that is...) Good Luck mom, hope u don't discover anything 2 shocking................

The browsing history is probably not enabled on your computer, but you can very easily check on the sites he's been visiting by going to the cookies that are automatically stored on the hard drive. Just go to start, search, all files and folders, and enter "cookies." This will bring up a number of file icons. They each represent a site that has been visited. Click on them to visit the site.

all the answers above mine are pretty much accurate however if this is a major concern for you might i suggest installing a specialized spy ware intended for tracking your child's Internet habits my children have figured out how to erase the history and know how to bypass all of my recent attempts so i am about to go to my friendly neighbourhood tech geek at micro-bytes pay an obscene amount of money to keep them safe on line till then they are banned from the p.c a tad on the dictator side but i watch dateline too and no perv is going to chat up my babies

My computer has a history tool on the toolbar. Any site visited can be accessed from it. Check your toolbar.

sure, just check the history. unless your kid is smart enough to delete the history, then you would need to purchase a tracking program
