My grandparents raised me, but my mom is okay - as a sister figure, not a mom. My grandma is almost 93 now, and she was and is the most loving, gentle woman in the world. She raised 5 kids and 3 grandkids, her mom and uncle lived with her and grandpa and she did all of that with multiple sclerosis and from a wheelchair after the mid-60s! What a woman!

Yes I had a great mom until she passed away. I miss her every day.

no never heard those words from my mom. she gave me and 4 siblings up. Since growing up I do see her at family functions occasionally, we dont speak. some family members have encouraged me to get over it and make up - how do I make up? and what do i make up for? for being born? But my childhood has made me determined to be a better mom and I think Ive suceeded.

i have the best mom, she is tough but always fair, she always shows me how much she loves me by always lending a friendly ear and helping me out if she thinks i need help.

I had the best mother ever. She passed away in November but I have so many things in my life to remind me of her. If your mother is still alive please tell her today that you love her!
