Actually you should be able to get pregnant right away as long as your are having intercourse during ovulation window and aren't stressing and really trying hard to get pregnant.

Good Luck.

Well when you come right off birth control pills you normally cant get pregnant for a long time. But everyone is different. It took me 5 years, but, you are still having your periods while when I got off the pill my periods totally stopped and was irregular eversince. It took my Mom a year to get pregnant with me after she got off the pill. It sounds like your perods are normal and you are fine so I dont think it will take too long for you.

My OBGYN advised that I should wait 3 months once I stopped using the pill before trying to get pregnant. Once my 3 months was over, my husband and I started trying while I was ovulating and the next month I found out I was pregnant! I know it's not that easy for everyone, but I would recommend waiting the 3 month period just to make sure everything is flushed from your system.

I did the same thing and my doctor recommended that I wait two regular cycles (two periods)

I did that, made notes, figured out my ovulation, and I am now 5 weeks pregnant!

The day you begin your period is Day 1. Most women ovulate (can get pg) around the 11th day, give or take a day. But sperm can live up to 3 days. Babycenter.com is good for more info.
