You can buy the heat patches and they work well. Other than drinking plenty of water, stretches, and keeping up the level of OTC pills.

There are heating pads that do not require a plug-in. They are called ThermaCare you can find them at any Walmart, Walgreens, CVS etc... You stick them on the hurting section and they last for 8 hours or so. They are sometimes in the tampon section but mostly with the other muscle relievers. I have extremely bad cramps. My gyno prescribed me Extra strength Aleve. It is non-narcotic so you can work while taking it. I still get drowsy but coffee helps that.

Have you tried those adhesive heat patches, they even make them in different sizes, one that would work either on your lower abdomen, or low back (or both). If you can tolerate 800mg. of Motrin, (ibuprofen) that is supposed to be the best (over the counter) treatment for menstrual cramps. Good Luck sorry you're hurting.

this is what u do: in the morning, boil some tea, and sip on that. that heat will coat ur stomach and make it feel better. always consider drinking sumthin hot. just like ur heating pad. that helps too big time. take a pain killer, and then make sum hot tea. you'll see a big difference. i hope u feel better...

Exercise is a huge help for me. Also drinking milk works for me too.

This really does help you sit on a toilet and think of something and not pay attention to your cramps.

sometimes it helps to get up and walk around. you could also go to your doctor and ask if he could give you something stronger.
