I had a Blue Jay, that had clubbed little feet, we took her in to get her nails clipped once a month, her name was Cristata..she lasted three years and died of a stroke.
We took in all kinds of birds for the aviary center here where I live. Also had Wood Ducks...now that was interesting.

I had a caterpillar once who liked to cross dress. Other than that my animals have been slightly less unusual. My ostrich does like to peck at her own vagina, so does that count?

I have had several pet mice. They were all domesticated mice that either came from petstores or were the offspring of mice that came from petstores. Mice are a very common animal, but they aren't that common as a pet.

When I was about 9 years old my older brother stole a baby tiger (cub) from the zoo. We had it for two weeks until the cops came LOL. True story.
