I'm going to be traveling from Ensenada to San Felipe, Baja California, and I cannot find much stuff on plants and animals. I want to be careful out there since it's my first time out of the country. What are some websites you know of that have a list of wildlife and animals. I want to be careful for some, and look for some for pictures and things. Thanks.

The only thing you have to be careful is getting to much sun. Bring lots of sunscreen. Also, watch what you eat and drink. Bring Imodium and pepto.
The only animal I can think of that you should be aware of is goats in small towns where the locals let them roam free.

Have a great trip. Take pictures for sure.

The route you're taking, unless you're on a walking trip, isn't dangerous, most of the wildlife has been swept away by the burgeoning development. Some surfers saw a mountain lion in the back country on the way from Tecate to San Miguel way off the road. There are a few rattlesnakes left and very weak scorpions. There are a number web sites about Baja plants and wildlife, just Google what you're looking for.

you dont have to worry about the wildlife in Mexico. The only dangerous wildlife you are going to find in baja are bars filled with drunken partying people. Its not like you are going to Africa. Bajas climate animals and plants should be very alike than those in U.S southern states.

Baja's gorgeous! You're going to love it...As far as what wildlife to be cautious of, I'd say the locals! :) But really, I never came across anything really dangerous.
