sometimes it depends, you can't always assume the silly ones are silly because there are some stupid people in this world that just don't know, if it is an honest question, then by all means, it's a good one to people that can give it a real answer, not just flood the topic with dumb comments like "my mom did that".,,, "duh"

If there is something I particularly want to know, and I cannot find the answer anywhere else I would be very annoyed if I got silly answers to a serious question. If I put a silly question then I would be very surprised to get a serious answer but on this site the unexpected is what makes it such fun.

The trouble is the silly questions seem more popular and there are a lot of serious answerers on here

Serious? If somebody has a problem it can be very helpful to get an answer from somebody that knows, or has suffered the same thing or has the answer. And yes, I like the funny buggers as well! Gives us a laugh now and then. One that made me think and then laugh was the - Buddhist goes into a cocktail bar and says to the bartender, "make me one with everything!" And I will drop in a joke of my own for fun now and then.

Both are very interesting. I guess it depends on the way you're feeling that day. If you want to be serious, then answer serious questions. Wanna be silly, answer silly and funny questions. I love answering people's problems, it makes me feel good that I helped someone out! Lol. :-)

I see it too; I extremely have been a aside of this on condition that June of ultimate 3 hundred and sixty 5 days and that i'm in effortless terms on point 2 because of the fact i'm so selective to what i prefer to respond to. there are various questions that are being asked and that i in specific circumstances ask your self whether they're basically seeing what proportion people will answer or how they'll respond. I too do no longer look after the questions approximately what to call my canines.... sturdy question.

well obviously it depends the way u state the question or if ur really asking for serious questions. i know one time i put out a question that was serious and i even politely asked that no one answer with "nonsense" answers..pleeeaasssee?" and i still got a few of 'em. ppl will just get on here and answer whatever sometimes, not knowing that the actual deal of this site is to really ask questions u need real answers to.
Ofcourse, as it went along, ppl just started messing around and just asked general questions, such as myself, i do it sometimes too (ok most of the time), but you just have to choose ur words wisely, i guess.

I think my questions are all serious - I'd only ask something if I needed the answer. I personally don't have time thinking of silly questions!

I like serious questions about things I'm interested in but also like fun questions as you can have a laugh reading the answers especially when people answer a obvious joke question with a very serious answer.
