Yes, it sounds like you're doing a great job! She'll let you know if she needs more, let her go at her own pace! Every child is different on how much they will eat and when.

How much solid food a baby will be eating depends on a variety of different things. A baby who began solid foods at 4 months of age may be eating more solid foods than the baby who began to eat solid foods at 6 months old.

A baby who is eating soft diced foods as beginner foods may seem to eat less than the baby who is being spoon-fed purées.

Another influence to how much solid foods a baby will be eating is simply the individual baby's appetite! As with adults, some babies will eat more than other due to their individual appetites.

A baby who is ill or teething may eat less than what has been typical for a few days and then suddenly the typical appetite comes roaring back.

An infant who is busy exploring the carpet or the new soft-book she has received may be miffed when she is put into a high chair and offered food.

You should make sure your baby is getting breast milk/nursing before solid foods as solid foods won't even meet nutritional needs now. Solids until about 9-10 months old are more for experimenting, not for nutrition!

Hi my son is about 6 months old and has roughly 2 tablespoons of rice prior to mixing it up and about 1 1/2 ounces fruit for breakfast lunch he has 2.5 oz fruit and 2.5 oz veggies for lunch 2.5 oz fruit 2.5 oz veggies and a few spoons of meat for dinner then fruit for a snack if he is hungry before bedtime and he still goes thru 32 oz of formula a day. Doctor said he has a great appetite. Slowing mix in meats tho. Let her eat how much she wants. She knows how much she can have. Good Luck

Generally when you start solids you start with solids at most once a day. Many people do every 2-3 days. Solids should NOT replace breastmilk, breastmilk is THE most important part of your child's diet until one year, and beyond. Nothing has more nutrients and calories per oz.

6 - 7 months Offer solids once a day, at most. Many start out offering solids every few days or even less often.

7 - 9 months Watch baby's cues - this is particularly easy if baby nurses beforehand and most/all of the solids are offered to baby to self-feed. Increase solids gradually if baby is interested, with a maximum of 2 meals per day.

9 - 12 months Watch baby's cues - this is particularly easy if baby nurses beforehand and most/all of the solids are offered to baby to self-feed. Increase solids gradually if baby is interested. Aim for baby getting no more than 25% of her calories from solids by the age of 12 months (some babies eat less than this at 12 months and that's also normal).

Continue nursing on cue. Solid foods should not replace nursing sessions unless you're actively weaning.

Limit water to SIPS from a cup with meals.

Juice is not necessary for baby's nutrition. If you offer juice, limit to sips from a cup with meals and introduce it gradually just like any other new food. It's best to dilute juice with water and limit total juice intake to no more than 3-4 ounces a day.

sounds like you have a wonderful baby girl!
a baby needs very little solids at this age, many eating only a little cereal and just starting stage 1 veggies. as long as she is breastfeeding well I wouldnt worry, but make sure shes getting enough milk. milk is first and any solids she wants is secondary.

Three time a day. Cereal and fruit in morning, veggie and fruit, maybe with cereal for lunch. Then a meat, veggie and fruit for dinner. It works well
