Although I started off liking Light first since im use to enjoying main characters and especially because he came off as a very different type of protagonist, I'll have to say I like L better.

I think week after week of seeing L and all his different sides and how smart he is, just makes me like him even more. I like how L is also not a typical type of character either. He's the smart type , but he comes off as an antisocial type of person, not a book worm or an elitist. His small traits, such as loving sugary items, holding things by the tip of his finders, wearing no shoes and never sleeps, makes him very unique. I especially love how he dosen't like to loose and goes with his instincts all the time, even if doing so seems wrong [such as how he always thought/think light is kira, even after he changed] shows how good he really is. And how far he is willing to go on somethings and risk alot.

Definatly and interesting character, and can't wait for them to release L's death note spin off live action movie~

I honestly have to say... I don't know.

Firstly I liked Light, untill I watched the first Death Note movie yesterday (Which is truer to the Manga than the Anime) And have to say, I don't really like Light anymore, his goal is a worthy one, but not with all the innocent people dying.

The Anime & Manga paint very different images of the characters, and taking that into consideration... I'd say neither.

Light may not be perfect, but neither is L. In the Anime, it shows him being very flippant about the risks of going after the new Kira's. I'm sure that L is mentally unstable..
I mean, sure he's a genious, but even Einstein was said to be mental.

So yeah, Neither ^^

I like ''L'' cuz he is so cool .. & lil bet goofy :P .. but unfortenatly he'll die :( or as I heard !!
