Why stop at two? There are plenty of bad burger places - you should probably ban every burger place that uses beef with more than 15% fat (a.k.a. 85% lean) - which is most of them.
Since I started making my own burgers (from 100% ground Sirloin), I rarely eat a plain burger from one of the chains. Once in a while I try and it always lingers on for hours, unlike a really good burger.

McDonald's because they're overrated....and I worked there and the behind the scenes view of the food is enough to make anyone not want to eat there again. It's just bad.
Burger King because all of their food is gross. The meat tastes like ashes, the fries are gross, their chicken is even nasty and I LOVE chicken. The only thing BK has going for them is French Toast Sticks and Hashbrowns. But I can live without them. I only get them like 1-2 times a year.

Why would you want to ban any? Fear of competition? Why do lefties always want to ban things?
Competition is the American way.
None taste awful, not even Jack in the Box. Of course I rarely frequent them, but believe anyone else CAN frequent them.
EDIT: Whataburger is a Texas-based hamburger chain founded in Corpus Christi in 1950. They now have 600 outlets in ten states and have current home offices in San Antonio.

None. People like fast food and you can always go to a restaurant that is more in line with your preferences. Cooking at home is a good thing, a positive experience. Try it.

Why would you want them banned? KFC and Taco Bell would just take their place. Not much of improvement if you ask me.
You might as well ban places that sell cigarettes and beer not good for your health either.

I would like to see all fast food places banned. Its making the world fat and full of sick people. The ingredients in the foods are disgusting-I don't see how it can be called food-full of dead crushed beatles (red food color) fats, and all manner of nasty stuff. I think people would be better served if they were forced to cook a decent, nutritious meal at home. Funny how you never see vegetarian fast food joints
