Level 1 cannot ask questions, in case they have naughty bits showing, and after 5 thombs down/ violations your answer gets deleted, but not the account...ideas??

Sounds interesting...but what's the point of being in answers if you can't ask anything till you reach level 2...I only started being here cause I had a question...hmmm, maybe we can change that for let them ask ten questions a day, and if two of those get reported the user is suspended for three days, if any of this answers get reported he or she loses the points and the answer is deleted.

Not bad but I wouldnt penalise any particular level. Also, on the thumbs down thing, that too can easily be abused. Instead of saying just a certain number of thumbs down, I would include requiring the person giving the thumbs down to explain why they gave the demerit. Also, why not just give the questioner the power to delete any offensive answers ?

No, cause I'm on level one and what if I had to ask an important question. Like, I just had trouble w/my car the other day so I was just about to ask a question so that I don't get screwed over at the mechanics. I think we (at level 1) should definitely be able to ask questions cause first, that's what introduced me to yahooanswers. Second, I seem to like asking questions more than answering them. Even though I'm close to level 2, I risk losing my 5 points cause I prefer to get informed over the points.

I think it would cut down on the craziness. Add that to Kennyboy's idea (check my profile...GREAT IDEA) and we may be able to turn Yahoo! around.
