She was a nut. Im wondering, does she have some sort of disease, or is she fair game to make fun of? Why did they focus so much on her?

I don't think it's right to call her diseased or mentally unstable just because she couldn't control her emotions. No one is ever "fair game" to make fun of. That's just low. Think about how you would feel if you were caught in a not so bright moment in your life for all of America to see.
I do think that her parents need to bring her feet back to the ground, get her head out of the celebrity cloud and bring her back to earth. A star struck crush is one thing... but that was a little much.

no, she's not a freak - don't you remember being that age and carried away w/emotion for some young singer? I do, I remember being crazy over young cute pop stars - you think they are singing just to you? oh, yea - it's youth and it's so cute and innocent. You've just forgotten. too bad. but, I do agree, Sanjaya's got to go!! :)

because of fact they have awful singers this year who made it thank you to some distance into the teach. There are some reliable ones like Blake,the two Chris', Lakisha, Melinda and Phil and that i like Jordin. yet please Sanjaya desires to bypass. He might desire to have in no way made it into the real 10.

she is some crazy girl that is too young to understand what a good singer is. She was only crying cuz she liked the guy the same way all these grown girls nowadays once cried over N'Sync and Backstreet boys

If she was real....why did they show her at the beginning when Ryan was walking out? I think he actually said something to her....she had to be staged...probably by votetheworst.com as a last ditch effort to keep Sanjaya on...though he didn't suck as bad last night as usual....

I dunno... But she cried over Melinda too... Honestly... I think there's something... wrong... with her. I can understand getting starstruck, but not over two people who aren't even famous yet, and also two people who share absolutely NOTHING in common other than the fact they are on American Idol. Plus, she's too young to get that hyped up over something so small. Something just wasn't right about it. There was an article on Yahoo! earlier this morning that was wondering if she was like a "staged" starstruck fan... I dunno... It just seemed really melodramatic.

Her name was Ashley that is what Ryan said.
I don't think she has a disease.. I think she was like the girl on scooby doo 2 who was all excited about Velma..
I have no clue why they focused on her :)
