i am assuming this is a joke question. This is a republic not a democracy. Just recite yout pledge of allegience. ..And to the REPUBLIC for which it stands....
Only a blind person could say this country was found on liberalism. Read the founding documents, read the bible.
You can't be a country founded on God and then go crazy with gay marriage and "let's kill babies" and think you are in the right!!!

It's a Constitutional Republic.

If you read the Constitution itself - NOT the Bill of Rights, but the body of the Constitution - there is NOTHING in there prohibiting establishing a state church, or defining marriage as between a man and a cow, or anything else. The Constitution is simply the PROCESS by which laws are made, enforced, and interpreted.

The Bill of Rights was added, to RESTRICT the power of the federal government to run roughshod over the individual states.

Which is why the Dems are scarier than GWB is, b/c the Dems can now tax away your paycheck.

It's really not.

It's a democratic republic, with a strong foundation in both liberal and conservative ideals.

The country only works when both are present, to create a balance. Either side eliminating the other would be disasterous.

Three words say it all.

My Pet Goat.

Bush didn't even know the book was upside down. How do you expect him to understand any American History.

Bush is a class warrior. To react to the polls would be a betrayal to the interests of the super-rich.

He probably reads polls but in the end he does what is right, not what is popular.
As for your second question, where did you come up with that one?
