What do Liberals hope to accomplish by vandalizing monuments and attacking veterans???

Question

Last Saturday, I joined my uncle, a Vietnam Veteran, at the Gathering of Eagles to help defend the Vietnam Memorial against attempts by Liberals to vandalize this hallowed ground.

The A.N.S.W.E.R. coalition, a Liberal organization which receives funding from tyrannical North Korea and supports the DNC, had stated their intention to hold a rally at the Memorial and to make a "point" by vandalizing it. The Gathering of Eagles subsequently formed to counter this anti-American rally and to defend the monument and the honor of American Veterans.

While at the Gathering of Eagles, I witnessed Liberals burn the American flag, spit at the Veterans attempting to defend the hallowed ground of the Monument, attempt to throw paint on the Monument, wipe their rears with the American Flag, and otherwise behave like animals.

I must ask, what do Liberals hope to accomplish by attacking Veterans, vandalizing Monuments, and generally behaving like animals???

Also, one of these Liberals, who appeared to be about 25, looked as though it hadn’t washed in three weeks, was of indeterminate sex (since Liberal men try to behave like girls and Liberal girls attempt to behave like men, I couldn’t tell what sex this thing was), was wearing a Communist Che Guevara T-Shirt, and carrying a sign that read “F-ck the American Empire” (it’s unclear what the “American Empire” might be) decided to show its commitment to peace by punching my uncle in the chest.

It’s unclear how punching a 60 year old Veteran in the chest promotes “peace” and I would be interested to hear why Liberals believe that it would.

After this animal struck my uncle, my uncle proceeded to defend himself taught this Liberal why it shouldn’t assault veterans.

While none of the so-called “peace” protesters came to aid my uncle, they immediately leapt to the aid of the assailant, illustrating that they supported its actions.

Don’t Liberals possess the basic civility to refrain from assaulting elderly men and are they not embarrassed by the fact that, after doing so, the elderly men are easily able to “shove a boot up their -ss”???

Donie proved what a loose grasp most Liberals have for historical FACTS.

Apparently he forgot that it was LBJ, a Liberal Democrat who sent our soldier to Vietnam, and then denied them the tools and resources to accomplish their mission.

He also must have forgotten that it was Richard Nixon, a Republican, who finally ended this war and brought out soldiers home.

Apparently Donie is another victim of the poor quality of the Liberal Socialized Education System which spends more time discussing sex (something which children should hear about in a private setting, from their parents) then the actual subject matter.

you have to remember though, it is a far left fringe group that has no respect for this country yet they willing take part in everything this county has to offer. It is not liberals as a whole.

I wish there was more coverage of the event, I hear you out numbered them 3 to 1. lol any military man would love those odds.

I know what your talking about when you discuss the freaks. I lived in or near San Fran for the best part of my life, there were protests constantly, and the weirdos would come out. What does dressing up in a pink tu-tu rolling and rolling around on roller skates have to to with the war in Iraq?

Anti-Semites, Communists, socialist, anarchists they all come out for these protests, is it really any surprise they cant get any reall political support?

Maybe some day the left will realize these are the worst people to have representing their cause. but as long as they let these people represent them, disrespect America, her history and her military they will never get the full respect of most of America.

As a Vet, it pisses me off when Americans are unpatriotic.

However, I take issue with a few of your statements.
1961, it was JFK that indecisively sent the first troops to Vietnam.
LBJ increased personnel and bombings (deforestation-Agent Orange ran the war from the White House).
Oh, and Nixon(a viable alternative to Goldwater) was compelled to stop the war due to chaos in the streets(WaterGate)and acts of civil unrest around the entire U.S of .A.
Rumor has it, he was taking advice from the numerous busts (former Presidents) in the White House.
Who cares, if we haven't learned from History--we repeat It!

Destroying National Monuments--is an affront to Civilization---check this---when Bagdad was in the AWe stage of " Shock and Awe" the Natives got restless and trashed the Museum Of Natural History.

what a horrible story. i feel compelled to apologize for my fellow americans, but i wont. i will not even consider myslef in the same category as the animals who desecrated the vietnam memorial and attacked your uncle, an american hero. i do not understand why americans act this way. i think it is because they are such losers in life and the democrats have taught them to blame "the man" the government for their pitiful state. these people are products of the democrat party, where they teach you to depend on the government for every necissity of life. and when they do not get it, its the republican party that has denied them when in reality, they should be taking care of themselves.

Some people want to relive the protests of the 1960's, like they were even alive then. Thanks to your uncle and you for your service and for educating these "people". Too bad there was no law enforcement personal around, I believe there are mandatory sentences for assaulting someone in his age group.

Well, I'm sorry that happened. But please, don't label these people into one single group, "Liberals." This whole conservative/liberal BS is tearing the country apart. Just take a look at half the YA's questions in the govt/politics section.

Those people weren't trying to accomplish anything. It was a social event. Period.

If your story is true, then what happened was deplorable. But these types of people should not be held up as a standard for true progressives or their causes...anymore than some rightwing slackjaw beating up my black neighbor should be a measuring stick for the conservatives.

It must have been something ony you saw as the media, not even FOX has reported. I don't believe those attacking monuments were necessarily liberals but people who love getting into demostrations of any kind just to make trouble. Please check facts and give better evidence in the future. For now fact check is negative.

Proof that fanatics are part of any organization or movement.

But don't blame the entire liberal movement for the actions of a few criminals. Anymore than the entire conservative movement is to blame for the radical conservatives that protest at military funerals or bomb medical clinics.
