Definately Diva Cup and Luna Pads. Never failed me, and I don't have to go out and buy new products all the time.

Do a search online, you'll find it- especially on ebay. They're great for travelling. Get 2 and keep a Diva Cup in your purse or car.

Your hands don't get blood on them because blood doesn't go past the cup. You also don't get dried out inside like tampons can do. Your natural fluids (not the blood) can continue to lubricate your insides like they're supposed to.

If you don't do this, go with plastic applicators and wings. Thin pads work just as great as thicker ones so get those. Check the box to see what type of flow the product holds, light, medium, or heavy.

Good luck on your search!

Personally I prefer tampons. I only use tampax compact because it has a plastic applicator and plastics more comfortable to insert than cardboard. This brand comes in a multi pack so I get super, regular & light.

As far as pads are concerned, I prefer Always Clean. It comes with a wet nap and it has wings to protect the underwear. On my last day I use regular pantyliners...I don't really use the long pads. But I prefer the ultra-thin pads.

You never said what you use, to know what product you feel is failing you? I've been told that most females find comfort in the plastic applicators...Carboard really bothered me so I switched. If you're having problems with tampons you should start with the tampax pearl. It has a rounder tip and it has a backup for leakage (but you should still wear a pad on your heavy days)!

Due to medical reasons, I can not use tampons so my only option are pads. I use the walmart brand Super with wings. Wings are VERY important and NEVER NEVER NEVER use the Always brand pads---they stick to you in an aweful way. Hope I've helped.

I use Tampax Pearl. It uses a plastic applicator. They insert easily and painlessly.

For pads, I don't prefer a specific brand, but I do need them long, with wings, because my flow is heavy.

i use tampax compaq, they come in different sizes so they're ideal for different flows during the week you need them

they're plastic applicators so smooth and easy to insert and tiny enough to fit in the smallest of handbags

i can't imagine using anything else since i discovered these, i only used them when i got a free sample thru the post
