People the problem isn't just "not investigating unfair violations" but they don't check anything out at all. And they don't get back to you if you write them except with a "Thank you for bringing that to our attention, we'll check in to it" letter and you never hear from them again. At least I never have.
Even a murder has a chance to defend himself but no one does here. Shouldn't we be able to "police" ourselves? After all we are the ones reporting the abuse in the first place. We should also be the ones to see if the complaint is justified.

There is so much ridiculous reporting going on, I'm sure they haven't the time to investigate them all. I think the people who report need to chill out and stop being so extremely judgemental about peoples opinions. That's who's being unfair. After all, that's all these answers are and what the whole YA thing is about. If you don't want to hear other peoples opinions, don't ask a public question or stay out of YA. Sounds simple to me!

I certainly think they ought to at least explain why they consider violation has been committed; it is a matter of basic courtesy.

Is that true that they're not following up on these kind of reports? If so then absolutely.
I believe a company/person should endevour to do whatever it is they have said they will. "Let your yeah be yeah and your nay nay."

If it wasn't for them there would be no violations to investigate.
