mine matches me exactly, im a cancer and they could have written the book about me
what some people fail to realise is that astrology is NOT just 12 signs divided between the worlds population

Not sure about the devil but surely some of it's true for example I am a virgo and my step-father my uncle my grand father are all virgos and we'r all the same
however then you get your daily horoscope and 1 paper differs from another and let's say you get:
"you are going to meet a person that will fall in love with you"
Does that mean every 12th person (roughly) in the world will fall in love??? very much doubt it... i am quite sceptical

i read my horoscope every so often, too, for entertainment value, but it's definitely not gospel. i find it really interesting that you haven't found anyone whose horoscope doesn't match them. i mean, i doubt that every single person that was born on hitler's birthday is similar to him, you know?
also, i had learned in my astronomy class, (although i can't remember the terminology) that our earth wobbles on its axis. when horoscopes were created and attributed to certain birthdays, the stars the earth corresponded with (the constellations; cancer, leo, whatever) were aligned differently. the earth has wobbled so much since then, that actually, everyone's sign is one sign off. so while you're a "leo" now, you're really actually one over in the other direction now, because the planet has moved.

Selective thinking
Selective thinking is the process whereby one selects out favorable evidence for remembrance and focus, while ignoring unfavorable evidence for a belief. This kind of thinking is the basis for most beliefs in the psychic powers of so-called mind readers and mediums. It is also the basis for many, if not most, occult and pseudoscientific beliefs.
It should be noted that selective thinking works independently of wishful thinking and should not be confused with biased thinking, whereby one seriously considers data contrary to one's belief, but one is much more critical of such data than one is of supportive data.

Only to those who are ignorant. And I'm not saying stupidity is the same as ignorance. Stupidy is the unwillingness to learn anything or open yourself up to other possibilities; it's not insane, just unfathomable to those who are stupid. Ignorance is, well, you just don' t know any better, but you're open to learning.

Horoscopes are what you want them to be. They apply to literally millions of people, so they have to be very general.
They can show typical trends, but don't live your life by them.
