Who in their right mind, would vote for a sales tax to help the super-rich, super-egomaniac Maloof Brothers, who own a casino in Las Vegas ?
Yes, the ARCO arena has sold out more consecutive games than any NBA team. But why wouldn't they ?
ARCO arena only holds about 17,500 seats. And ticket prices are mostly on the cheap end.
Sacramento has no NFL or Major League Baseball team.
So what other choice do people have for entertainment ?
Even Stanford basketball at Maples Pavilion is more exciting in my opinion. And the money goes to help education, not some rich jerk off.
