assuming durant and oden both go pro as expected, who is your front runner (or runners) for national player of the year next year.

i know who mine is!

mayo and gordon are gonna be sick in college next year, but i will gurantee you neither will put up numbers like durant (since no one has ever put up those numbers in the college game freshman-senior)

there are a couple better choices than that. you cant predict another year like durant has had. how many freshman have won national player of the year? not many

LET ME SAY IT AGAIN......NO ONE WILL EVER PUT UP THE NUMBERS KEVIN DURANT DID THIS YEAR AT THE COLLEGE LEVEL. so saying anyone will do similar is outrageous at best. and this beasley kid will not be able to play all 5 positions better than almost anyone can play their own position. that is what kevin durant is. if tracy mcgrady, tim duncan, and jason kidd were mixed into one, you know have a kevin durant. so please stop saying next year their will be a similar player. we might not ever see someone like him again!

players may have averaged what durant has averaged, but seeing him go for like 35 pts and 25 rebounds is unheard of.

ANYWAYS, the real answer as far as a front runner is CHRIS LOFTON. he was a favorite to win it before Durant started going off and before Lofton got hurt. You cant say a freshman not even in the game yet is a favorite.

i also like any of the kansas players if they stay, brandon wright if he stays. i dont think tyler hansborough isnt going anywhere, so he will probably win it (finalist this year)

he is not as good as kidd, durant, or mcgrady when they were his age? that is comedy son. durant can play all 5 positions better than most can play 1. enough said.

Do you have a hard-on for Kevin Durant?

even though you ask with the stipulation that durant and oden will go pro, that's still an impossible question to answer because others could go pro as well that could win the award, the first coming to mind being tyler hansbrough

and to say that no one will put up durant's numbers ever again is insane, maybe not at the level of competition that durant played against, but perhaps at a smaller college...someone will in the future have the talent that durant has and will be able to put up similar numbers, whether or not it is at a big-time school i don't know, but it will happen

and durant is not as good as duncan, mcgrady, or kidd so he certainly can't be a mix of all three

Women's: Candace Parker, Tennessee. No query. Men's: I'll cross out on a limb with OJ Mayo, Southern California. He's already bought Tim Floyd wrapped round his little finger. I determine Floyd will permit him do some thing he desires, and he'll have a season very similar to what triggered Kevin Durant to be participant of the 12 months this 12 months. But if you happen to wish the excellent participant, anybody of the men pulling out of the draft is a likelihood. Brandon Rush is a robust likelihood, and Hibbert from Georgetown will probably be lovely well as good.

Beasley of K-State. though he is an incoming freshmen, he has the same scary skill as durant but is is more stonger and powerful inside (is #1 player in the nation as a HS recruit according to Rivals).

O.J. Mayo. He will make a similar impact as Kevin Durant this season.

Wright is expected to go pro as well and be a top 5 pick

I'd have to go with an incoming freshman as all the top players will/should be going pro so I'm going ot go with the NBA ready player in OJ Mayo who is NBA ready but has to go to college for his year

Brandan Wright UNC, he's unstoppable as a tall skinny kid, he'll gain ten pounds and improve shooting touch and footwork. He'll average a double double easily and be ACC player of the year and National Player of the year.
