kobe should not even be in the mvp talks. i hate dirk but, maybe he earned it this year. steve nash should win hands down. 2 nd best team in the league. he is shooting 53.6 % 19.1 ppg. he is shotting 47 % 3 point line thats better then kobe's from the field 46 % what a joke. he is averaging almost 12 assists a game. he plays 5 less minutes then kobe a game. if he played as much he would average 4 more points and 2 more assists a game. when will people get off kobe's nuts and realize why steve nash is so good? he leads his team .

If Kobe deserves MVP for scoring a lot of points, then you also have to agree that Jordan should have gotten 10mvps instead of 4.
I personally felt that Jordan should have gotten 5 MVPs instead of 4, or 10. However, i do feel that last year, Nash deserved it the most and second was Lebron.
I also think that Nash deserves it the most this year and Dirk is second.
Shaq got his team winning 9/10 games, Lebron got his team winning 8 games in a row,
What did Kobe do to show that he deserves theMVP? by carrying his team 3 games over .500 and breaking Phil Jackson's losing record by losing 7 in a row?
Sorry Kobe fans, but that would not make a good case for MVP.

i think Dirk is mvp than nash.
Nash is awesome and he makes everybody better but they have 2 other all stars on that team,
The lakers just arent good enough for Kobe to win MVP.I dont feel that he really makes his teammates better, I think his teammates make him better,just look how he's exploded in scoring since Odom and walton came back.
I also think Tim Duncan should be considered for MVP again, nobody's talking about him; but is their any one player that is more important to their team on both the offensive and the defensive sides of the floor. The spurs have the best defense in the league and Duncan makes his teammates better, I dont think tony parker would be an all star if he didnt play with a dominant post player like duncan.

This is easy, Steve Nash should be MVP. Nash is the field marshal. He sees the floor really well and makes his teammates better, while Kobe, he has no choice. He's a great scorer and defender, but that's about it. He can't make his teammates better. He has to do everything himself. Phil Jackson is trying to make him the "MJ" of that team like when MJ was with the bulls. But MJ had a better supporting cast that the Lakers.

look both player are really good in there own right. i'm kobe fan and last year i think he should of got it but i wasnt that mad that nash won it beacuse he had a good season. look at nashs team compared to kobe of course hes gonna get over 10 assist the suns are a fastbreak team that means alot of layups and dunks. kobe team isnt a fast break team they run the triangle offense. both are fall of fame players. if you going off stats and team record then dirk wins mvp he has the ebst team in the league. dirk should get mvp this year.
