Seems as though lust and anger are their only emotions...

Yes, they have emotions. I am currently married I loved my wife I did everything for her to make her happy (perhaps that was my fault). I would tell her how much I love her and how much she ment for me. I would constantly take her out to dinner, at night I would hug her when we were sleeping. But, she left me for her mum, (she went back over seas) now I think sometimes do women have emotions? But, I know deep down they do it was just her.... well I hope this will answer your question not all men are same they show feelings in different ways and it's upto the individual to accept them or not.

There are some men out there that are not afraid to share that they DO have emotions. But men were taught that to show emotion was "weak" for the most part. They're "supposed" to be tough, hold back tears when they get booboos, and never ever let someone think they are soft.
But in today's society, I think more of them are coming to terms with their softer sides. They are just few and far between and very hard to find.

Not that dear. Emotions are not healthy, but guys do have emotions, it is different if they are considered and cared of or not. No not lust and no anger. I do not know the inception of your this perception abut men. Find a good guy friend and your perception will change for the positive.

Yes but it sometimes depends on the man of course some guys are just not open to sharing there feelings or showing them around people. Alot of guys think showing there emotions makes them look to femanine so they bottle them up. Others think showing your emotions lets people no that you have feelings and when they may be hurt by what is said to them or done to them. If you think these are the only emotions guys have then maybe you have been with some screwed up guys?

I found the response from the poster from the south interesting. I grew up in NE Us/Canada, in big cities, and was totally brought up that men should show their emotions too.

And I can tell you, women really do like men who show their emotions.

We're talking about as friends, right?

I've belatedly learned to hide mine.

It's a shame, but it seems that society seems to "reward" guys who DON'T show their true emotions. Guys who are emotional are seen as "weak" or "girly". I don't agree with that assessment, but that seems to be the consensus where I come from. (The South)

I'm sure guys have feelings, it's just that they probably feel like if they truly expressed them they would be laughed at. Also, I think alot of guys, my husband included, have been taught to "suck it up" so to speak and "be a man". My husband thinks a man that cries is a "wuss" as he calls it. Needless to say, my husband is not the most thoughtful and sensitive guy around. I wish he would BE more EMOTIONAL.

I'd love to raise our son to be able to express his feelings more openly. But already I see my husband tell him to "snap out of it" and "quit your crying" and our son is in 1st grade. I'm afraid all the emotions are being bottled up in my little boy and he is going to be one of the guys that you are referring to.

Lust and anger are emotions aren't they? Therefore you answered your own question.

Of course, they are perfectly capable of all the others as well...some just show them less than others.

You can't be serious. I consider myself a lot of things, funny, love to laugh and be absurd, maybe too sensitve, kind hearted, but can be a hard *** too, kind of sentimental and can cry from time to time depending on the situation.

We're human too and while we have some real turds among our ranks, most of us are good guys with feelings. You apparently haven't met any. That's a shame. Maybe you aren't looking in the right places or not hard enough.

Yes. Of course men have emotions. We get scared, happy, sad....all of that. We just don't feel like we need to share those feeling with the world.

If lust and anger is all you are finding, then perhaps that is what you are looking for.
