It may sound weired but try this; try to suck air in, as if you're smoking with your mouth full of warm water for few secs, and swallow it. Make sure when to be bending during the process and thank me for it.

GUARANTEED: Take a spoon full of sugar, place on tongue then immediately drink a glass of water.
This will work every time. Everyone at work didn't believe it until they tried it. My mom always did this with me and her and it always worked.
The sugar and then water allows it to 'break' your hiccup cycle. Not a chemist, just now it works!
Not only that, hell it doesn't taste bad, is not 'wierd' to do and is quick and easy. What more can you ask for?

Hiccoughs are an involuntary spasm of the diaphragm muscle I have not ever heard of anything to cure them instantly. If you are wondering about the unusual spelling of the word I assure you it is correct. I have tried everything to rid myself of that dreaded anomoly. The most that I can honestly say is let them run their course. Sorry, good luck with your hiccoughs.

Get water in a glass, bend over far at the waist and drink water from the opposite side of the glass. It always works for me.

Try this remedy, it really works. Light a match, extinguish it in a full glass of water, stir it, then drink the water. Has something to do with the sulfur. You won't get sick, so don't worry.

We watched a segment of Mythbusters, they said to rub your forehead between the eyebrows. Supposedly, it worked, I haven't tried it, but then I haven't had hiccups lately.
