I enjoyed reading about Bill Clinton being fiscally conservative

why don't conservatives today care about fiscal conservatism
instead they think like Cheney "Ronald Reagan prooved deficits don't matter"
What kind of team of idiots do we have in there anyway?

Donie;

Because you are too cowardly to accept E-mails, I am forced to contact you by posting in another of your threads.

You answered the question 'What do Liberals hope to accomplish by vandalizing monuments and attacking veterans???' by stating;

"think your entire story is bullchit

and your uncle should thank liberals, we are the ones that brought the boys home from NAM"

First of all, if you E-mail me, I would be more then glad to send you photographic proof of the fact that your "Liberal Brothers" assaulted several Veterans from the Vietnam War, and War on Terror, and even attacked an Afghanistan War Veteran who had lost his hand while demining an Afghan town to make it safe for the people there.

Secondly, while I know that Liberals have a very loose grasp on history and facts, you might be interested to know that, while my uncle VOLUNTEERED to serve his country, it was LBJ, a Liberal who sent him to Vietnam, and Richard Nixon, a Republican, who brought him home (from his third tour).

This is something we need a lot more of today .
Being responsible for what and how we spend the valuable dollars tax payers contribute to the well being of society .
With so many in government afflicted with the "s" factor today it is hard to accomplish real conservative agendas in spending and wasting tax payer dollars .

It's the "Stupid factor," the S factor: Some people -- sometimes through no fault of their own -- are just not very bright.

It's not merely that some people are insufficiently intelligent to grasp the nuances of foreign policy, of constitutional law, of macroeconomics or of the variegated interplay of humans and the environment. These aren't the people I'm referring to. The people I'm referring to cannot understand the phenomenon of cause and effect. They're perplexed by issues comprising more than two sides. They don't have the wherewithal to expand the sources of their information. And above all -- far above all -- they don't think.

So until we can replace the current group afflicted with this common alignment we will suffer because of it .

There are no fiscal conservatives running and its a real problem.

The term neoconservative is just a new little phrase the liberals are using to try to make the word conservative as bad a word as liberal is in todays society. Whenever a liberal doesnt like a conservatives stance its the neocons out to get us. Its not used in the media as anything but a way to bash the term conservative. Thankfully people in this country are still more conservative then liberal.

Cutting deep into the military budget doesnt make you a fiscal conservative.
And fiscal conservatism is what im most conservative about.
social issues im somewhat moderate on.

I wouldnt go so far as to say deficits dont matter, but they matter less than people think.

Different focus.

The neo-conservative movement uses big government to advance their social agenda, the way most liberals used big government to advance their social agenda.

That's why there is a split (major or minor depending on who you ask) in the conservative movement.

1.2 Trillion was added to the Nations Debt during the Clinton years. He was no different than the rest.

A team of idiots, elected by the American people, why don't you find someone else to insult and lay off your fellow American.

You're right, somebody up there, Democrat or Republican, needs to put the clampdown on spending. And it's not just the war.
