the point of living? existence? being?? not sure what you mean...but i have to say that i have asked myself that question in the past and i still don't have a really good answer.
perhaps, the point is to feel joy. Everything is for that so we can feel joy, connectedness - positive emotion. All the pain, heartache and hardness of life is supposed to lead up to that and we should cherish the moments of joy - they're like gold - that's what truly matters.

its the end of a sharpened pencil. most obviously recognized by its black lead surrounded by the wooden part of the pencil.
most notably different form the eraser which is often pinkish in color (kinda like a special part of the female anatomy) and firm yet pliable (kinda like another part of the female anatomy).
one good method of getting to the 'point' is to have a private conversation with you pencil. asking it various questions and seeing what aswers the pencil will write for you - note questions shoudl be written so that the pencil understands the question.
