i have an old pedestal type bathtub that needs work done on the inside looks like oil stain ring around the tub

Lowes or Home Depot sells a refinishing kit for bathrooms. Its one part epoxy and one part paint. Generally, it only comes in a bright white color. They may have pastel shades, if you prefer. The kit explains how to do this properly. They are about $20.00 for one kit. I've used one on my tub and it's a miracle worker!

you can get a 2 part tub and tile epoxy at home depot or lowes and refinish it
