Yes you should, she's not going to be cross with you, and will be glad you felt able to tell her :)

She will find out soon enough, and if you don't tell her she may not understand why you felt you couldn't. It's a good thing, and part of growing up. She can buy you pads or tampons too, which means you don't have to do it out of your money, you won't have to remember to buy them ready for next month and if you feel embarrassed then you don't have to worry about it.

She may also want to discuss other stuff with you like sex and pregnancy, and tell her will give her this chance. Even if you think you know all about it then you should let her tell you, she will feel like it's her job to tell you!

The only reason she might be a little upset is cos her baby girl is becoming a woman :)

As far as *how* to tell her. If you are often alone together then just say it to her then, say "mom, I've got something to tell you, I got my periods". If you aren't normally alone then just ask her if you can have a chat with her in private for a minute. Maybe do it when she is cooking or something, because then you don't have to look face to face when you tell her (this is when I told mine), cos that can be hard sometimes.

per chance you should attempt rubbing baking soda on it. then leave it on for extra or less a million hour. then at the same time as it turns pink rub it off and cover a fabric on it. it is going to remedy in about 2-3 days. if it doesnt remedy you should heavily evaluate going to a well being care specialist becuase it may change into very deadly. wish that helps.

Of course, tell your mum! She'll be happy and excited for you! And it's nothing to be ashamed of!! Be smart. Don't get pregnant. When you're older, don't have sex until you find a man that you are in love with, and he must be in love with you too. That's a long way off, but remember to use condoms. It's best to wait till you'e married and ready to start a family. Don't let one little mistake ruin your whole life.

Yes, you should definetly tell your mom. Why wouldn't you? Your mom will be able to help you and buy you the things you need (pads, tampons, ect). There is no reason to hide it, it is perfectly normal.

yes, tell her and you simply say...mom, I got my period. It's not like she hasn't been doing the same thing for the last 25 years.

I think you should tell her- it's not something to be ashamed of or embarassed of...you might be suprised at how she will react. She will probably be happy you shared with her and she probably will be glad to help you get supplies. Good luck and congrats.
