a few months ago I found a lump in my left breast. I got an ultra-sound done and they said it didnt look like anything. Now I have one in my right aswell. I'm going to get a new ultra-sound tomorrow and eventually a biopsy. Most likely its cysts, but I'm still nervous.
I was wondering if this could have anything to do with taking Yaz birth control? My sister had problems like this when she used the birth control patch.

note: i'm 22 years old if that makes a difference.

There is a lot of speculation, but it seems like no one really knows for sure why cysts form. The ultrasound will see if the lump you feel is a cyst (fluid-filled), a solid mass, or tissue that looks normal. A biopsy will only be performed if a solid mass is found. Cysts are usually left alone unless it is large and painful, then it may be drained with a needle to get rid of it. Cysts can come and go, increase or decrease in size. If nothing unusual is seen, then your doctor will probably have you follow up short term. It is very common to feel a lump and have nothing show up. Hormones can change the texture of the breasts and make them feel different. You're doing the right thing by having it checked out to make sure everything is OK. Good luck!!!

The ultrasound would have picked up on a cyst, they found nothing.
You are most likely feeling normal breast tissue.
