When me and my husband met, we both had friends, a social life, etc. However as time went on, all of his friends tried to talk to me on the side, I let him know and eventually this ended their relationship. Myself found out I had to let go of some bad friends that I had for various reasons. Now I find my life boring with no one to talk to except my husband and family. My husband doesn't like to go out, and I am social but just haven't found any friends. Me and my hubby just can't find people that relate to us. Any advice?

That is like most marriages in society consider joining a gym together or a social club. You must continue to do stuff you did when you dated it keeps the spark alive if you in a neighborhood consider hosting a block party to get to know your neighbours. You may very well find out that some of the couples are in the same situation and you then can become friends and hang-out etc.. Your social life doesn't have to end when you marry it just means you have to find things you can do together as a couple. My wife and I still go out danciong once in awhile if not for the social gathering just to be around people and just to have a good time.
I applaud you and your hubby sometimes ending friendships
happen because what you want in life and what your single friends want are two entirely different things. It is hard to find
people that have similar things in common for instance try being a married couple that have no kids and do not want kids you know how hard that is to find in another couple?.
Have you guys talked to your neighbours introduced yourselves sometimes just letting people know you exist can change things for the better.

God Bless and Good Luck
Do you go to Church maybe a thought if you don't alot of good people and couples go to church!

There are a lot of married people that like to hang out with other married people. You will find those people at church, the YMCA, and at kid's sporting events. If that's what you really want.

But, it sounds like to me that it not what you really want. It's boring hanging out with other married couples. Most married people that enjoy hanging out with other couple enjoy it because there is something lacking in their marriage and they can't stand to be alone.

Except for family, my wife and I don't hang out with married people. There's really no point in it. Besides, when married people actually WANT to hang out with other married people it is usually another motive behind it.

Find a single friend. That way you can at least have intersting things to talk about. Besides it will help you maintain your identiity as and individual.

When we decided to make new friendships we made one rule...only friends that are married or involved. Takes awhile but we are finally up to about 4 couples that we spend time with. Gets boring once all the friends leave or you cut them lose. good luck

You have to find an activity that interests both of you, then persue that activity, you will meet other couples that share your interest. I think losing friends from befor marriage is fairly common with most couples.

Be satisfied that your husband is your best friend and always there for you. Return the same friendship to him.
