Yes, if you don't mind spending the next eight weeks trapped in some psycho's basebent bunker against your will, praying you get out some day. Pick up a paper or watch the news. Things you could get away with in the 70's and 80's have dire consiquences now. The next car you get into could be your last. Try a dating service, you'd be safer.

NO!!!Unless you want to take the risk.
At this point in the world, I would say that the internet was safer than the hitch-hiking idea.

I hope that's not a serious question. There are tons of safer ways to go about meeting guys. I don't recommend hitchhiking as one of them.
