Prefabricated building are just as durable and repair friendly as built on site buildings. In fact their basic construction is the same and generally repairs are very similar.

I lived in one of the last remaining prefabricated houses in Essex and was told they were built in 1946 and expected to last 30 years, it was 50 years old when I lived in it but it's gone now.

Pre-fab, just means not fabricated on site. It is just as good and often better than stick built. If the building is maintained is should last as long as any other building. Unless it has suffered neglect for a long time most things should be fixable.
