Well Jabber.
I understand why you are freaking out.
I was to. But luckily Ol' Roy dry food isn't one of the ones being recalled. I would still keep a close eye for any of the symptons. If the dog develops any take her to a vet ASAP.
Or just to make you feel better call your vet and ask if you show keep that food or throw it away and get different kind.
I am sure all will be well.

Get your canines neutered by using a good vet and possibilities are high he would be advantageous. Alvin had neuter surgical treatment a month in the past. The worst area became post surgical treatment. He have been given an infection because of fact he licked the positioning of the incision. So on went the ecollar (the worst area of the full technique for all persons). Even giving him the antibiotics became easier! Now he's advantageous. Stitches got here out each and every week after surgical treatment. The itching stopped, off got here the ecollar and aside from the absence of specific physique areas, he's a similar playful pup.

well first thing is don't feed your dog that food anymore. second thing - how long a go did you give this food to your dog? has he been trowing up or having diarrea? Is he moping around or is he still active? If you see any of these signs in your dog you need to take him to a vet ASAP. If you do not have a vet then you can take him to an animal hospital and most of them will work out a payment plan with you.

Well what I would do would be to call up the store you got it from and ask what the serial code was for the recalled food.
Then check your food serial code.
Next I would call up a vet & ask for just in case perposes what you should do. Give the doggy love for me :D

The recall only is for moist pouches and cans. I work for one of the retailers. I haven't heard of any dry food. Call your vet and ask what the symptoms are and watch for them. just be per cautious.

The recall only affects wet food.

Relax - it's canned food only.

But FYI - Old Roy sucks and isn't good for your dog. "By product" means feathers, feet, beaks and hooves - plus anything else they happen to find. Find a good quality where meat is the main ingredient.
