"Parents and children have nothing to fear" about known members of violent extremists groups becoming school bus drivers?

Why does there need to be a known plot before parents say "I'm not comfortable with this"? Shouldn't we ere on the side of caution and not being so politically correct when it comes to protecting our children?

Tell you what...if this plot is true and somehow comes to fruition...the extremists will have bitten off more than they can chew.
I honestly believe, that our "political differences" would be thrown aside in an instant once "our" children are involved. Want to test our resolve as a nation...start ****ing with our kids. A parent's love knows no political affiliation.

I would agree with the FBI on this one. It appears they have no actual evidence that terrorists have obtained licenses to drive buses in order to commit terrorist acts. It may just be the case they are looking into some people, who happen to have licenses, but there isn't enough evidence to be conclusive. Because the way our government is set up, and because peoples' rights are very precious, until we have probable cause (or other level of evidence) we cannot and should not take action. As the article also stated, most of these people are innocent people seeking gainful employment. We need to be careful before we take any action that would limit rights of free people.
That being said, I do think our country has gotten overly consumed with political correctness.

I saw the show on Glen Beck and they are going to get us any way they can I think that if they did that President bush would have there *** along with the rioting that would go on here in the states I think that the US citizens need to stand up and fight for our border patrols and support our troops with all funds necessary

Want an easy answer to this? Get rid of government schools! Then you can decide where to send your child, how they will be transported, what curriculum they learn, etc. Or you can continue to be a sheep and believe the government school's aren't trying to indoctrinate the children.
