It's not unsafe to have sex during any phase of your pregnancy but tell your hubby not to be so rough. It is common to have pains like this in your abdomen and pelvic areas early on, especially if you're not a big girl to begin with. Your body is changing and growing, mostly strtching which can cause the pain. It sounds like if you were in an unusual position during sex that your body is protesting since it's already trying to stretch. But, to answer your question, yes, it is very common to have ALL of those aches and pains during the first 1 month to 6 weeks. By the way, there are tests out there that can tell you as soon as 6 days after you concieve whether or not you are pregnant. Also, blood tests are infallible.
