In the last few years (I am 23) my periods have been all over the place. Sometimes I wont get it for months and months and others I will get it month after month. My doctor took me off the pill b/c I was getting it 3 times a month!! How can I get pregnant? My husband and I have tried since before we were married to have a baby (about 2 years) and nothing. Any suggestions?

You could try the ovulation kits. But I would check things with your doctor. Do you have low progesterone? That was happening to me and I no have a cream to put on my arms every day. My cycles are getting more regular. Anything to check for is any type of infection that may not have been noticed before. Like an infection on the OUTSIDE of your bladder, or somewhere around your uterus.

Have you asked your doctor to do some tests????You might want to if you have not already!
I know i was suffering from extremely irregular cycles ( never been on BC). I went a little longer than a year without a period with no cause, I had every kind of test done and everything was perfect..So my doctor suggested a natural progesterone cream every month to help regulate my cycle, while on the progesterone cream i had 2 regular cycles and last month still taking the cream I missed my period and have been experiencing sore tender breasts for a week with some light abdominal cramping and some brown discharge around the time i should have gotten my period....I never get sore breasts not even befor my period. I'm waiting to take a test for another week or 2 just so i know the results will be acurate...
What i'm trying to get at is maybe talking to your doctor about progesterone cream.. I have been trying to get pregnant for 1 1/2 years alrready and using the cream for only 2 months i see a great improvement and might actually be pregnant already. It wouldn't hurt..
Good luck and lots of baby dust to you:)

I always had an irregular period, too, and didn't think it would be easy to get pregnant. I just took the attitude of "if it's meant to be, it will happen" so my husband and I never really stressed birth control too much. A year into our marriage (I was 25), I got pregnant with my first son. Unless your doctor has a medical reason why you cannot get pregnant, you might as well just chill out and let it happen. Don't stress about it. Good luck! (If you get really desperate, use a diaphragm - that's how my second son was born! :) )

You can start now by charting your temperatures and cervical mucus etc. (Check out www.fertilityfriend.com)
I would ask your doctor to run some simple tests to ensure you are not annovulatory. (Make sure you are ovulating!)
If you are, ovulation kits and charting is best the course of action to proceed with for the next few months. If you are not ovulating, your doctor can help prescribe you medications that will help kickstart ovulation.
Gooooooood luck!

I would suggest buying an ovulation kit to at least find out when your are ovulating especially since you have irregular periods.

Also, try talking to a fertility specialist to find out what they have suggested to other couples that have been in your situation.

Good Luck
