Well, the Patriots can add all the players they want and it wont matter, they were going to be good this next season anyway...so I'm not sure I can call them the most improved, even if they did add all those great players...Nah I'd still have to say it is going to be the 49ers. Not because Clements $80million....that's just whack by the way...but because of the team as a whole adding talent at spots it needs and a young back field that's getting better. I'm looking for Alex Smith to have a decent year (provided his team stays healthy, they don't look to have very much depth)

When you're talking most improved, you have to look at the teams that have room to improve. This talk about the Patriots is nonsense. You had a great team that went deep into the playoffs last year, and any improvement will likely be minor. You can't improve too much more than a deep playoff run.
Look at teams in the bottom 5-10 if you want improvement. Among those teams, I'd go one of two ways: the Oakland Raiders or the Washington Redskins.
The Oakland Raiders I mention simply because you really don't have anywhere to go but up. They do have a solid defense, and can bolster their offense with some early selections in the draft. Once their o-line and QB positions solidify, you'll see them play much better.
I think the Redskins will show the most improvement this year though. They really underperformed, given the talent they had. On paper, it looked like they improved a team that went to the playoffs in 2005, but with a new system and some key injuries, they just didn't perform. With a bolstered defense, the second year in an offensive scheme, the potential to get an impact player with the #6 overall pick, and a better, more talented player at QB this year than last, I really feel that the Redskins could make a run at the playoffs this year. They could be one of the more surprising teams.

Well there are a number of teams still looking to make moves so it is hard to tell at this point. I would say that the Raiders will be the most improved. They will make a few more moves in the offseason and everything is a vast improvement over last year. They will pick up a QB, I think they will dump Moss and pick up a new receiver and they will heopfully sure up their offensive line a little to help their QB and new RB and FB. I think the Raiders have a show at winning 6 games and that is a 300% increase on wins, no other team has that chance.

The Pats are definitely the most improved. Whihc is crazy since they were just a few min away from winning the AFC and most likely win it all.
LB A Thomas (One of the top if not the top FA in the NFL)
3 WR (Washington, Stalworth, and Welker all upgrade their offense treamendously)
Plus not to mention they have 2 first round picks!
Losing Dillon wasnt a big deal since he was pretty much just an inside guy. Something Maroney can do as well!
D Graham was a bad loss but K Brady is a much better blocker and compared more to an extra tackle than a TE.
Plus they retain Samuel. Tied for the most pick in the season.
The only argument i would have against the pats is that its hard to make the most improvement since they were just a few min away to win the whole thing. Where teams like San Fran who can win 3+ more games than last year. The pats dont have that much to go as far as improving wins other than winning it all or having a perfect season.
This is all just speculation and we wont know who made the biggest improvement until they actually play, but u cant dismiss the pats moves so far this off season!

Even though the Patriots did great last season, they will definilty be more improved this coming year because of their free agent signings. Tom Brady now has a REAL reciving corps led by Donte Stallworth, Wes Welker, and Kelly Washington. They have a GREAT blocking TE in Kyle Brady and a solid back up RB in Sammy Morris. The defense will also be much better with the additions of Eddie Jackson and Adalius Thomas. The Pats are also pursuing Edgerton Hartwell, a great run stopper.
The Pats are ready to go!

I think it will be the Arizona Cardinals. Matt Leinart will be going into the season as the starter, and they have some great offensive weapons for him in James, Fitzgerald, and Boldin. The defense is around the middle of the pack and has some good playmakers. The Cardinals biggest weakness last year was the offensive line, and it looks like Joe Thomas may slip to them at #5 in the draft.

Cant say the Pats because they made it to the AFC champion game last year. It will be the Raiders. They will be last years Jets. Beef up the OL and they already signed Rhodes and Griffith. If they draft Russell they could have last years Vince Young. Plus their defense is already nasty (ranked 3rd in yards given up) In terms of records they should improve more than any other team.
