You know Bill, I know you are a guy cause you said "panties", women say underwear or underpants....we don't say panties so i think you are for real......I have never been a marine but I would highly not reccomend it.....stick with the marine issue stuff......(you could wear the pinkie panties underneath)..

I am not aware of any regulations that govern what "appropriate" underwear is defined as. However, since you would be outside of the norm (if a guy), expect to hear about it if you walk around in your shorts in front of the others.

Assuming you're a male, yes, because i'm sure you're aware of the don't ask, don't tell policy, so I guess just keep those undies to yourself and out of everyone else's views, because there are guys that hide their sexuality in all of the branches.
