im using nero smart start what do i pick to burn pictures to a dvd i can put them onto cd but cant figure it out for dvd. should it be a data dvd someone please help as i dont know what to pick from the list,also im using windows xp home addition if that helps or maybe im using the wrong type of dvd how do i find that out as well. greatfull for any help

You should use DataDVD option. If you don't have any option for burning DVDs, you may have an old version of Nero, so try to upgrade it. As regarding to the DVD, you have to use a DVD+R. DVD-R or DVD-RW. Hope this will help! For more information contact me!

Choose the DVD option, then make Data DVD and browse for the pictures and add them to the list to be burnt, then just go next all the way through.

if you just want to save pictures under data choose make data cd or dvd and drag them into the window when you've got enough just keep clicking next to burn
you can also create a photo cd/dvd that'll give a slide show on any dvd player that's under photo and video

depends on what you are trying to do. If you just want the pics to be viewable on a cpu use a regular cd. If you want it to autoplay like on a dvd player then make a slideshow then burn it as a dvd.

if all your needing to do is burn them onto the dvd and then look at them on another computer, then yes choose data dvd. it'll work fine
