Where are you? In U.K all mens footwear,even slippers, are in standard sizes usually 6to11 or 12. I know you can get confused sometimes with European sizings and American sizes but the terms you quote have nothing to do with footwear.They are used for clothes like shirts and sweaters. They are Small,Medium,Large,X(extra large) sorry forgot XS which I think is extra small.There is no way you could use the terms to buy the correct size of footwear.The only other terms referring to footwear is the width But with men's footwear they usually say wide or extra wide(Ladies widths are a bit more complicated).

depends where ya are from in ireland it would be on the smaller size. 11 and 12 would be big to me

Probably a large. Maybe a medium. Large would be a safer bet.
