Around here, many people hang Mardi Gras beads from the rear view (or if you're Catholic, a rosary). In my car, there's a rosary, but nothing else. My girlfriend's car has a single strand of Mardi Gras beads and a figurine of Pepé Le Pew (a cartoon skunk). I saw a car at the library the other day that had to have at least 100 tiny dolls mounted all over the car's interior, plus a lot of fake fur.

Yep, we have that in the United States as well. I guess people put things in their car that they really like and that they feel reflects their personality or whatever current phase they are going through. Where I live, you can get pulled over by the Police if you have anything hanging from your rear-view mirror, but I don't think they enforce it that much. My husband recently bought me a Mitsubishi Spyder convertible, and I try and take really good care of it inside and out. So, no, I don't have anything tacky inside my car or hanging from my rear-view mirror.

I see $2500 cars with $10k of modifications all the time. People put the craziest stuff on & in their vehicle.

I have a Druid emblem hanging from my rear view mirror & approx 4 bumper/window stickers, proclaiming support or allegience to groups or sports teams
