DD's husband was unfaithful to her, she found out one year ago.
He wants to make his marriage with my DD work, but still sees the OW.
My DD is so fed up, but he claims he still loves her, yet he yaps at her weight problem. *( DD is about 40 lbs. overweight, but I must add, she still is very strinckinly beautiful, with long dark hair)
they have 3 young girls, that are badly affected throught this siutation.l
NOTE: He is not living with them, she won't have him at home as long as he continuises to see the OW.
He claims he wouldn't seee her if she took him back, well, she tried that, and no, he still seen her.
In oreder to get the divorece, DD would have to choke up $5,000.00, which she does'nt have. ( because they own serveral houses....)

Well being that DD knows Jesus and follows Biblical principals then she is aware that according to the Bible she is free to divorce him! If she doesn't have 5k for the divorce then maybe she should take a personal loan to get the money. Also she can get the divorce worded so he has to pay her back for half of her cost in the divorce.

She should cut her losses and get rid of this man as soon as possible. Her daughters are learning that it's okay for a man to treat a woman badly and cheat on her. DD needs to be strong for herself and for her girls. The cheating man won't change. DD has already convinced him that he can see this OW as long as he wants and DD will still allow him in her life, if not her house.

$5000 is very little to pay to get rid of this garbage in her life and have the freedom to seek someone who will cherish her and her girls.

Best of luck.

Look, it's preety obvious this guy is not interested in any knid of real intimacy or commitment in a relationship. He is only interested in having his cake and eating it, and manipulating others to get what he wants. He doesn't feel any real meaningfull love for his partners, or genuine remorese for his actions. Chance are, he has already cheated on his paramour, with a third woman. She needs to find the deternination and courage to not be thrown around like a sack of potatoes.

DD should try some kind of mediation service, these are generally less stressful, and much less expensive than legal action. Failing that, she needs to disengage herself from this guy ASAP. In a sense sense, infidelity constitutes a form of "breach of contract". Some lawyers may be willing to charge the expenses to the guilty party...

Good luck,

He's a loser and a user. DD might want to shop around for a good lawyer and if at all possible get hard evidence of his cheating. She may have to sell some of her personal stuff to get the money.
