Im not sure i would love to believe that my kids take my advice just a little.

My kids listen to me all the time, but I can not remember the last time someone listened to me because they cared about what I had to say.

My husband listened to me last weekend. I was feeling like I was no longer on his priority list. He has been really busy with work and church assignments and I didn't want to complain, but I was feeling unimportant. He rearranged his entire schedule to take me out for ice cream THAT NIGHT and we are going to a very nice restaraunt for dinner tomorrow night. He has promised me that all Friday nights are mine for the next little while. He's an amazing man. I am very lucky to have him.

About an hour ago. I work from home, my husband is at work from 7:00 a.m. until about 5:00 p.m., and my 11 year old is in school until 2:30 p.m. So during the day, it's just me and our 2 Siberian Huskies (and Lord knows they certainly don't listen to me!) at home. But about an hour ago, my husband called me from work just to say "I love you." I am truly blessed to be married to this awesome man.

Today! I am substitute teaching and the kids actually listened to me today! I'm lucky, it doesn't happen with every class!
