I just bought my son a couple of frogs from walmart. They weren't in a tank they were in small cups. I assumed I could just put it in a tank with no oxygen. How and what do you keep yours in?

I keep 4 African Dwarf frogs in a 50 gallon tank with some guppies. The tank is heated to about 80F, and it is filtered. They thrive when they are kept in warmer water (80-85F), but they can survive in an unfiltered, unheated tank. There used to be a company with a product called AquaBabies, and the frogs that you could buy would live about 3-4 years. In a warm, clean tank, your frogs will be more likely to live up to 10 years. (Mine are going on 5 years).

they need a cycled, filtered, preferably heated tank, keep as you would a fish. they are fully aquatic and don't need land. they're messy eaters needing foods such as bloodworm, usually dangled right in front of their face, any uneaten food will need to be cleared up.

you definately got dwarf frogs and not clawed?
