If it is your average bathroom door lock you can turn it with a paperclip it the keyhole (really). Most bathroom doors open in, the hinges are on the inside. You can't remove them from the outside. The screws for the door nob are also on the other side.

If everything listed thus far doesn't work, try using a modern prybar.
CAREFULLY insert your tool between the door jamb and the door frame just in front of the door bolt and lift it away from the frame far enough for you to inspect the door bolt.
There are at least two types of doorbolt latches:
1. The Conventional Latch, that you should have been able to defeat before you had to look at this column; and:
2. The Pick Proof Latch: It has an extra "finger" that is automatically retracted (and kept locked) when engaged after the door is closed.
There are two types of Pick Proof Latches:
1. The cheap one (that you can saw through).
2. The good one that you cannot saw through.
If you have the good one, kick in the door and be prepared to repair the damage.

A small screwdriver should be able to turn the lock and open it. I have also used a credit card to push the latch back. Just slide the credit card in along the door edge and keep pushing till you work the latch back away from the door catch. The door should pop right open if you are successfull. It takes little effort to do this but sometimes it causes damage to the credit card. This only works if the door opens in. Most bathroom doors open in so this should work. Any thief knows how to do this.

If the hinges are on the outside of the door just take the hinges off. If it's a cheap lock you can slide a butter knife in between the lock and the frame and try to pop the lock that way. Or you could try a hairpin or something like that tho that only works on Macgyver I think. If all else fails call a locksmith

If it's a newer knob with the hole in it then get a small screw driver and put it in the hole and turn it. You will feel the lock turn if your on the right gap.

if its the one that has a hole in it stick a bobby pin in it and if its one that doesn't have a hole in the middle just take a butter knife and put it between the door frame and the lock and the door should come open.
