Honestly it depends on the dr. Some dr's NEVER check until you think you are in labor. It really makes no sense to check earlier, because it doesn't indicate how soon labor will start.

Depends on the pregnancy and the doctor. Some do at 36 weeks some don't until 37 weeks or later if there's no medical reason for it.

Usually it's the last month of pregnancy, or about 36 weeks. However, it also depends on the pregnancy. If you were having contractions earlier than that, then they would check you earlier.

If I remember correctly it's around 36 weeks when you start going to the dr weekly.
